I’m Councilman Audwin Samuel, and for over 60 years, Beaumont has been my home — the place that shaped my values, my faith, and my commitment to public service. From my early days in our local schools to my career in law and leadership, Beaumont has always been at the center of my life.
I’ve had the honor of serving our city for more than three decades — as a School Board Trustee, City Councilman for Ward 3, and Mayor Pro-Tem. These roles weren’t about titles for me — they were opportunities to stand in the gap for our families, our infrastructure, and our community needs. My service has always been driven by purpose, not politics.
As a successful attorney and longtime public servant, I bring the knowledge, experience, and steady leadership needed to get things done. I understand how city government works — the policies, the process, the partnerships — and I’ve used that insight to help guide Beaumont forward.
But my leadership is also deeply rooted in faith. I believe that when you’ve been blessed, you’re called to be a blessing. Inspired by my pastor, John R. Adolph, I’ve committed my life to servant leadership — standing boldly for what’s just and right, even when it’s not easy.
I’m running for City Council At-Large: to help build A Better Beaumont. That means safer neighborhoods, better streets and drainage, strong economic development, and a city government that works for every resident — north, south, central, and west.
This campaign is about working together to create a stronger Beaumont for our families, our children, and generations to come.
Let’s keep building A Better Beaumont — together.
Every great city is built by the people who believe in it — and A Better Beaumont starts with all of us.
Your contribution to my campaign for City Council At-Large helps us reach more voters, host community events, share the vision, and continue this movement for safer neighborhoods, stronger infrastructure, and lasting opportunity across our city.
